eCapacity is expanding again with one of the most senior eCommerce profiles in the Nordic eCommerce industry. Carsten Pingel comes from a position as Head of International Investment in Egmont – where he has been a leading figure in acquiring and building up a new high growth eCommerce business area with a turnover of more than 3 billion DKK.
Carsten is taking a position as Strategy Director in eCapacity’s digital Management Consulting team. With his experience from growing and optimizing eCommerce business, making the commercial due diligence in eCommerce acquisitions, executing growth plans and digital transformation across an international media company, he will be a strong digital advisor to our customers.
Carsten is the second in a series of key and strong eCommerce management consultants that have joined eCapacity this summer. Daniel Stefanac is another strong eCommerce profile, comming from a position at Pandora as Director, E-commerce Center of Excellence and previously he has worked for McKinsey and TV2.
We are experiencing a strong demand from our clients for experienced consulting teams that can assist in setting a strong digital growth plan, and not least understand how to execute it. The eCommerce market has become much more important for several reasons – partly the COVID-19 situation has accelerated the consumers’ channel shift towards the digital sales and service channels. So today we see a market that in two months grew to what we had expected to take two years. So the Omni channel structure in the companies, a top-tuned eCommerce channel and an advanced use and activation of data have become very high priority with our customers.
